About us

Richard and Alice Eastland and their children took over the Park in 2003, and are committed to continually improving the site, and to maintaining a high standard of accommodation and service.

We are members of the British Holiday and Home Parks Association which regulates all areas of the Industry. In 2006 we achieved a gold green business tourism award for our commitmtnet to the environment.

As the address suggests we are based on the site of an old Station Balquhidder Station was an important stop where the mail was sorted and water was taken on from the same reservoir that now supplies the site with water. The Railway steps are still used and the entrance to the pedestrian tunnel and the rings for tethering horses are still there.

In 2006 we planted a new area of Oaks and have undertaken extensive landscaping and hedgerow planting. The Toilet Block has been refurbished and a new highly efficient boiler system installed. In 2007 we added two more log cabins for holiday rentals. We have put ina wildlife Pond and will be sympathetically developed to provide a thriving eco-system (we hope!)

New arrivals for 2008 are the two Highland pony foals Sea holly and Cosmos and they have been joined by hens and the ever increasing wildlife that is coming back onto the park as it regenerates.
